Admission
Entry to the Show Ground is via the admission gate next to the Post Office. See the Show Schedule for admission prices.
Advertising
Advertising space is available in the Show Schedule. Further information is available from advertising@lhshow.co.uk.
Arena Events
The Show Arena plays host to a wide variety of events every year. Past events have included falconry displays, marching bands, junior football and stunt cycling.
Assault Course

Balloon Race
The residents of Rewlands Drive run the annual Balloon Race, with at least one past winner getting as far as France. The Code of Conduct ensures that environmental concerns are carefully addressed.
Beer Tent
Drinks are available from the Beer Tent and Pavillion Bar during the Show. Given the Show's traditional good weather they are usually very popular.
Beneficiary
As well as being a fun afternoon, the Show makes a donation to local charities from the proceeds of each Show. Almost £5,000 has been donated in the past two years alone.
Book Stall
The book stall is always well stocked and very popular. Whatever your preferred reading material, there's a good chance you'll find a book or two to read after the Show.
Bouncy Castle
The Bouncy Castle is often still busy while other stalls are closed and packing up, so don't leave it too late if you know someone who would like a go!
Bric-A-Brac
The Show Committee run a Bric-A-Brac stall every year. Items for sale can be brought along on the morning of Show Day, and why not pop back for a bargain during the Show?

Car Parking
Free car parking is provided on Show day, with invaluable assistance from members of the First Winchester Scout Group.
Charities
Local charities run a number of stalls at each Show, and a donation is made each year to a local beneficiary.
Coconut Shy
Along with the Crockery Smashing, the Coconut Shy is one of the most popular sideshows at the Show.
Committee
The Show Committee, together with Flower Show and Fete sub-committees, organise each year's Show. If you would like to join the Committee or send a comment, please get in touch.
Cookery Demonstration
The 2005 Show sees our first ever Cookery demonstration, from the chef of the Running Horse. Three demonstrations will cover starter, main course and dessert respectively.
Craft Tent
Local craftspeople demonstrate and crafts and sell their products next to the Flower Show in the Marquee.
Crockery Smashing
The crockery smashing stall is a regular crowd-pleaser, attracting all ages.
Crossword
Crosswords have appeared in recent Show Schedules. You can have a go or find the solutions in our on-line Puzzles section.

Evening Event
Each year's Show weekend includes an event on the Saturday evening, from a Barn Dance to a Night at the Races.

Flower Show
The main attraction of the Show, the Flower Show always attracts a high number and standard of competition entries. The Schedule of Classes is included in the Show Programme and this web site.
Food and Drink
There's always plenty of refreshments for Show-goers, from hot dogs to cakes and from teas to soft drinks and an outdoor bar. The Ice Cream van is always busy too, thanks to the traditional fine show weather.

History Group
The History Group often stage informative presentations on the history of the Littleton and Harestock area. The History Group alternate with the Art Group, so check the Show Schedule to see which group will be at each Show.

Hoopla
This traditional game is a popular way to win a soft drink, especially given the traditional warm Show weather.
Hospital Radio
The Show has been well supported by Winchester Hospital Radio, whose DJs provide information and music throughout the Show.

Ice Cream
The Show traditionally has fine weather, as proven by the long queues for the Ice Cream van.

During the Show members of the Committee can be found at the Information desk outside the Marquee. Comments about the Show and suggestions for future years are welcome too!

Marwell Zoo
The 2005 Show includes an information stand and wildlife talks from the experts of Marwell Zoo. Places for the talks are limited, so you will need to get a ticket - see the Show Programme for details.
Miniature Railway
A traditional fixture at the Show, the miniature railway is always very popular.

Pet Show
The Thursday before the Show sees the annual Pet Show, featuring an amazing variety of pets and lots of very proud owners.

Post Office
Littleton Post Office stays open on Show Day. Please leave car park spaces near the Post Office for their customers.

Service in the Tent
The Sunday of Show weekend is completed by the Service in the Tent, organised by Churches Together. See the Show Programme for details.
Show History
For anyone interested in the Show, we have an introduction to and full history of the Show.
Show Schedule
The Show Schedule is distributed free throughout the Littleton, Harestock and surrounding areas in early July and has extensive information about the Show as well as Flower Show schedule of classes and entry form. Information on advertising in the Schedule is available from advertising@lhshow.co.uk.
Sideshows
The Show includes a variety of sideshows, from the Balloon Race to the Model Railway and Crockery Smashing.
Stalls
An assortment of stalls are run by the Show Committee and local charities.
Summer Quiz
Our annual 100-question Summer Quiz is always popular, due to the variety of questions and the £100 prize! Quiz sheets can be bought before or during the Show. Why not practice with past Quizzes in the Puzzles section?

Teas
Teas, cakes and other refreshments are available in the Millennium Hall on Show day, thanks to the Littleton and Harestock Women's Institute.
Teddy Bungee
Bring your favourite toy or borrow one of ours for the Teddy Bungee Jump!
Tombola
The Show Committee run a Tombola every year. Charity Stall holders are requested not to run their own Tombola.

Vintage Vehicles
Vintage cars, motorbikes and even buses draw crowds of all ages at the Show. Details of each year's attractions can be found in the Show Schedule.
Volunteers
The Show would not be possible if not for the efforts of the volunteers who help before, during and after the Show. More help is always welcome, and if you are willing then see our How to Help section for more information.

Wet Sponges
Whether throwing the sponges or volunteering to be a target, the Wet Sponge stall is always popular - especially in hot weather!
Wheel of Fortune
The Wheel of Fortune is usually found adjacent to the Book Stall.
Wire Animal Sculptures
A collection of wire animal sculptures were displayed at the Craft Tent entrance in 2004 and 2005.
Women's Institute
Littleton and Harestock Women's Institute are always busy on Show day, providing Teas and other refreshments in the Millennium Hall. They are also one of the many local WI's to enter the Women's Institute competition in the Flower Show.
