183. Men Only. Harvest Fruit Cake - Recipe and method:
100g margarine, 100g caster sugar, 125ml milk. 300g mixed dried fruit. 200gr S.R.flour and 1 level tsp. mixed spice, sieved together, 2 eggs.
Place all ingredients in mixing bowl. Beat with wooden spoon until well mixed (2/3 minutes). Place in greased and lined 2lb/1kg loaf tin and smooth top. Bake at 325°F / 160°C / Gas No 3 for 1 hour.

194. Chocolate Malt Loaf - Recipe and method:
200gr S.R.flour, pinch of salt, 50g malted drinking chocolate. 75g rich dark brown soft sugar, 50g dried fruit, 50g glacé cherries quartered, 2 tbsps golden syrup, 150ml milk.
Sieve flour and salt together, mix in the malted drinking chocolate, sugar, dried fruit and cherries. Add golden syrup and enough milk to make a dropping consistency. Turn into prepared 1lb/500g loaf tin and bake at 180°C/350°F/ Gas 4 for 50 to 60 minutes.
