For the purpose of this, and the other "NOVICE" Sections, a Novice is an exhibitor who has not won more then TWO First Prizes in the class or classes entered in any show.

Class No. Section "D" Display Classes
46. Five Kinds of Vegetables, numbers as per sperate classes in Section "A". Space allowed approx 70cm deep and 60cm wide.
47. Four Salad Vegetables from the following:
4 Tomatoes, 1 Lettuce, 6 Radish, 2 Cucumbers, 1 Capsicum, 10 Salad Onions, 3 Carrots, 3 Beetroot.
Space allowed - 70cm deep by 40cm wide.
48. Master Gardener Competition - Display of ONE Vase of Flowers and THREE Vegetables from the following:
9 Sweet Peas, 2 Gladioli, 9 Annuals, 6 Stems of Perennials, 3 Dahlias, 3 Chysanthemums, 6 Runner Beans, 6 Potatoes, 2 Parsnips, 3 Onions, 6 Shallots, 3 Carrots, 4 Tomatoes, 3 Courgettes, 2 Cabbage.
Space allowed - 70cm deep by 60cm wide.
49. Top Tray Class. Three kinds of Vegetables from the following to be shown in a tray not larger than 45cm by 30cm and must be within the confines of the tray. Parsley may be used for effect.
3 Potatoes, 6 Runner Beans, 3 Carrots, 3 Tomatoes, 4 Courgettes, 3 Onions, no bulb to exceed 250 grams.

50. Three Kinds of Vegetable, numbers as per seperate classes in section "B". Space allowed 70cm deep and 45cm wide.
